Farm Bureau holding 2023 Bookmark Contest for middle school students

Posted

Are you a middle school student who likes to create art? Then check out the 2023 Georgia Farm Bureau Middle School Bookmark Contest!

The contest is open to all public, private and homeschool students in the 6th, 7th or 8th grades. Participating students will be given a blank bookmark and asked to draw a picture that depicts some aspect of Georgia agriculture, plus one question to answer. Students may use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to create their bookmark.

The contest is to encourage students to creatively explore Georgia agriculture and increase their knowledge of the contributions it makes in our lives.

Drawings will be judged on 1) how well the artwork represents modern agriculture found in Emanuel County or Georgia and 2) artistic merit.

All submitted artwork must be original and becomes the property of Georgia Farm Bureau once submitted. GFB may use artwork from the contest on various products distributed or sold by the organization to promote agriculture.

Contact Emanuel County Farm Bureau for rules and a blank bookmark for use. The entries must be submitted thru Emanuel County Farm Bureau.

The top three county winners will receive cash prizes and first place will have their bookmark entered in the Dist. 7 contest. Entries must be submitted to Emanuel County Farm Bureau by February 17, 2023.
