On March 14, Family Connection co-sponsored the TCE Family Night with the theme "Escape the School.” More than 200 people attended the fun event where students and their families had to solve the puzzles and riddles to get the clues to "Escape the School". Each grade level had an escape room for the students to work in. Upon opening the treasure chest with their clues students received a free book and healthy snacks.
Dinner was served to all. Door prizes like gift cards and sports equipment along with more books were given out. A special thanks to the Mill Creek Foundation who funded the event. Also, East Georgia Healthcare was there to give out a new bike to a lucky student. Family Connection supports these events to promote literacy and family engagement.
