The Fall Line Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting, Tuesday night, January 10, 2023, at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce with President Sandy Mercer presiding, and nine in attendance including one guest. Dess Smith presented to the Chapter a Streamer from the November "Fort Morris, Come and Take It" event for presenting a wreath from the Fall Line Chapter. President Mercer then introduced Senior Vice President for the Georgia Society, Wayne Brown, who called on the 2023 officers of the Fall Line Chapter to come forward. VP Brown then installed Ken Lindsey as the Sgt-at-Arms, Keith Everett as the Secretary and Dess Smith as the Vice President. Senior VP Wayne then installed Sandy Mercer as the 2023 President of the Fall Line Chapter. Senior VP Wayne then presented his program on the American Soldier and why he fought.
