According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…

November 20
Deputy was given warrants or offender that had felony warrants out for Henry County.
Victim stated he had a large amount of pine straw taken from his property on Lawson Wilkes Rd. and has not received the payment agreed upon.
Deputy met with complainant that stated someone got into her bank account and was trying to take money out using cash app.
Deputy was patrolling the area of Hwy 192 S. when he observed a vehicle operating at high rate of speed. Deputy initiated a traffic stop to find the driver had suspended drivers license due to 3 failure to appears.

November 21
Deputy met with complainant on Ehrlich Farm Rd. in reference to a complaint concerning gun fire. She also stated she heard several gun shots that day and and this has been an ongoing issue with her neighbor because they sound close.
Deputy responded to Hwy 5 E. in reference to assist EMS with a female with altered mental status and was being belligerent. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with offender who refused medical help and appeared to by under the influence. Offender’s daughter convinced her to go to the hospital via POV and deputies followed. Shortly down the road, offender tried opening her door while he vehicle was in motion and caused the daughter to slam on brakes and almost causing the deputy to rear end them.
Deputy met with complainant who stated he was letting victim fix one of his houses and noticed the trailer that has his tools was no longer on the property.


November 22
Complainant hit a deer on US 1 Bypass causing extensive damage to the vehicle.


November 23
Complainants stated offender kicked their front door in, busting the paneling on the door. Complainants also stated as offender was leaving, he started screaming at them to stay out of his business and busted the window next to the front door and then knocked a hole in the vinyl on the side of the residence.


November 24
Complainant stated she has been staying with her grandmother helping take care of grandkids and offender has also been staying there. Complainant stated offender just got out of prison not long ago and he has already started back using drugs and acting really crazy. Complainant stated she and the grandmother tried to get offender to go back to rehab and almost got him to go but he wanted them to buy him some drugs before he went in and they refused and offender started making threats that he would burn houses down.


November 25
Complainant stated she hit a deer on US 1 North causing moderate damage.
Deputy responded to a brush fire on the side of Hwy 57 E.
Complainant struck a couch in the middle of US 1 Bypass South.

November 26Deputies were notified of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road on Ehrlich Farm Rd. When deputy arrived, he saw a vehicle in the ditch. He exited his vehicle and saw offender laying back I the driver seat with the vehicle running, at which time he made contact with the offender and made sure she was not injured. She stated she was fine but just ran off the road. Deputy could smell an odor of alcohol coming from her and she had very slurred speech. Deputy requested her to step out of the vehicle at which point she needed assistance getting out, and became belligerent and uncooperative.

November 27
Complainant stated she sub-contracted a residential paint job to the offender and the job should have only taken a few days but t took the offender a couple of weeks and offender is wanting more money than agreed upon.
Deputies responded to Union Chapel Rd. after offender called 911 to get his debit card from his mother. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the debit card belongs to the mother.
Deputy responded to a call at EMC in reference to a female that was involved in a domestic dispute. Complainant advised that a guy (in which she named) threw a skill saw at her causing two lacerations to her left arm.


November 28
Deputy responded to JM Spearman Rd. in reference to an ATV accident. Upon arrival, deputies found an overturned ATV in the ditch with one victim pinned underneath. Deputies were able to lift the ATV off the victim.
Complainant struck a deer on Bill Glen Rd. causing damage.

November 29
Deputy responded to Halls Bridge Rd. in reference to a possible burglary. Upon arrival, witness stated his mother was out of town and she was notified that her front door was ajar. A walk through was conducted and concluded nothing appeared to be missing.

November 30

Deputy was dispatched to Flounder Rd. in reference to a domestic. Victim stated he rents a trailer to offender on Blackberry Rd. and offender hasn’t been staying there for 2 months and the power had been cut off. Victim went to check on the trailer and found it flooded where someone broke the valve in the toilet and handle, causing it to overflow.
