Please note, due to a change in press time associated with the Thanksgiving holiday, information collected for this week's COVID-19 update is based off of the most recent update made available at time of press. County numbers listed will reflect numbers provided by the county office on Tuesday, November 17, and Friday, November 20.
According to the county commissioner's most recent noon update before press time Monday, November 23, the total active cases of COVID-19 in Emanuel has decreased from 27 to 19 since last week's COVID-19 update report.

Statics reported in the November and November 2 reports reveal a decrease of 8 active COVID-19 cases; an increase of 10 confirmed cases; an increase of 18 recoveries; and a stagnant death rate.
The Emanuel County Board of Commissioners remains the go-to for the most current, cumulative list of coronavirus cases here locally.
