March 4th from 10 am to 2 pm, the Emanuel County Veterans Center will host a veteran’s git-to-gather. It will be a time to connect with old friends with food and a casual atmosphere. In addition,there will be in attendance Veteran Service Officer’s from the State of Georgia, The American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, to help answer any questions that you may have. Also, we are inviting the members of the National Guard Unit in Swainsboro to join us. Come out and talk with them and see how life for a soldier has changed over the years. There is no cost for this event, and we really hope you can come out and visit with us.
