Emanuel County School System has been closely monitoring the advice and updates regarding the status of COVID-19 and has determined school closures will extend past Governor Kemp’s mandate of Tuesday, March 31, to Friday, April 3, 2020. Spring break planned for April 6-10, 2020 will remain as scheduled. School system administration will continue to evaluate conditions prior to the end of spring break with an expected return date for students and staff of Monday, April 13, 2020. In this climate of uncertainty, it is important to monitor for updates as they change rapidly.
