Emanuel County Schools is excited to partner with East Georgia Healthcare to provide on-site clinic services to Twin City Elementary School. Students and staff now have access to primary care without leaving their campus. The fully equipped medical unit is staffed by a licensed provider and support staff. The clinic will be on-site every Tuesday.
Research shows that improved health leads to academic success and regular school attendance positively impacts a student's achievement. This initiative could help decrease the time students and staff are out of school due to illness, increasing the time spent on learning.
