Two of East Georgia State College’s softball players have been named Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) players of the week. Sierra Taylor was named Player of the Week for EGSC’s conference, and Britney Foster was named Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
Taylor had a .526 batting average, 6 R, 1 3B, 4 2B, 1 HR, 6 RBI’s 9 PO’s in six games
played last week. Foster was 3-0; IP: 20, R: 7, ER: 7, K’s: 24, 3 BB and ERA: 3.15 in three games last week.
This is the second time in EGSC’s history that the softball program has had a Player of the Week and a Pitcher of the Week for the conference during the same week.
