April 10

Complainant stated she loaned a vehicle to a suspect and he was supposed to return it and failed to do so.

April 11

Deputy received a call to Oak Chapel Rd. in reference to a dog bite. Deputy spoke with complainant who stated offender’s dog keeps going to her residence and it jumped on her dog causing a scratch and bit victim which is her daughter. Deputy spoke with offender and instructed him that someone needed to get the dog out of c/p’s yard and that he needs to make arrangements to keep his dog in his yard or get rid of it.  Offender told deputy he was at work but he would have his mother and father in route to get it. The dog was not aggressive while there. Offender advised the dog has had all of its shots. C/p stated her daughter did not need medical attention.

Victim stated she arrived home on Reba Dr. and found her gas lid open and found someone had poured what appeared to be syrup in the tank.

Deputy was called to a report of cows out on Cowford Bridge Rd. Deputy checked the area but no cows were found, and contacted a known subject who has cows across the road and advised him about the call.

Dellwood Fire Dept. was called to a woods fire on Old Wadley Rd. Forestry was called to plow around it. The fire burned around 20 acres.

April 12

Deputy was dispatched to Red Oak Rd. where complainant stated offender was driving up and down the road where c/p’s mother and grandmother live trying to start a fight with her and threatening her stating “don’t make me pop my trunk”. C/p also stated offender was driving through their yard and spinning wheels and they have a protective order against him. Offender had already left the scene upon deputy’s arrival.

Deputy received a call to Summer St. in reference to dogs being in neighbor’s yard. Deputy spoke with complainant who stated offender’s dogs keep going in his yard and attacking him. C/p stated he had made numerous reports and has already contacted code enforcement. C/p also stated offender keeps four dogs inside his residence when he is not home and had just let the dogs back inside.

April 13

Deputies responded to Longbay Dr. in reference to a stabbing. Deputies located the victims and turned them over to EMS for treatment. Inv. arrived on scene after EMS and began processing the scene. Witnesses identified the suspect and SPD and Bulloch Co. SO responded to the incident location to assist ECSO with the search for the suspect. Suspect was located and apprehended without incident and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to St. Galilee Rd. in reference to complainant finding a dead dog at her carport.

April 14

Deputy received a call to Hugh Johnson Circle in Garfield in reference to a missing phone. Deputy spoke with complainant who stated he went to the residence and got into an altercation with offender and he thinks he dropped his phone at the residence. C/p spoke with offender and she denies having the phone. The altercation was reported to Garfield PD and c/p was the offender of the altercation.

April 16

Deputy was conducting traffic enforcement on Hwy 56 North is Summertown when her observed a vehicle traveling 77 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, at which time he turned around and turned on his emergency equipment lights and the vehicle began to speed up, not attempting to stop, at which point deputy realized the vehicle was fleeing and eluding the traffic stop. Deputy initiated all of his emergency equipment and advised 911 that the vehicle seemed to not be stopping, then advised 911 that the vehicle was fleeing at speeds of 130 MPH. The vehicle eventually pulled over on the shoulder of the road and deputy exited his vehicle and offender proceeded to continue on Hwy 56 North. The vehicle then started slowing down and turned onto Old Savannah Rd. and came to a stop. Deputy exited his vehicle giving loud verbal commands. Another deputy who was off at the time, saw the event and pulled over to assist. Both deputies were able to get offender out of the vehicle with no further incident. Offender was charged with multiple traffic citations and booked into EmCo Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to EMC in reference to an ATV crash. Upon arrival, complainant stated he was driving the ATV to Crab Apple Ln. and attempted to make a u-turn and the ATV flipped. Once c/p noticed the ATV tipping, he put his left leg out to try to stop it from flipping and when he put his foot on the ground, his leg broke. After being treated, c/p was transported to EMC for treatment and after transferred to another hospital via EMS.

April 17

911 dispatched a call to Dellwood Baptist Church in reference to an abandoned scooter left on the church property. Deputy checked to see if the scooter was stolen and it came back no record found. Deputy talked to the pastor who stated it was ok where it was at for now.

Deputy was dispatched to EMC ER and met with SPD officers and offender. Offender had been taken to the ER by his grandmother and other family members to be checked out because he was found the night before in the woods. Family suspected he had been drinking and possibly taken some drugs. Offender refused to go inside the ER to be checked out and after several attempts to talk to him and to get him to get checked, deputy was ordered to arrest offender for disorderly conduct. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to Club Rolex in Oak Park for loud music. The first call was a little after midnight and the second was about an hour later. Deputies were already in the area and went over to the club and told them to turn it down and security said he would tell the owner.
