September 26

Deputy responded to Falcon Trl. regarding a suspicious person. Complainant stated a man walked up on the porch and knocked on her door and when she asked who it was, he stated “your man sent me here to get a dog”. C/p asked her husband who stated he had not spoken to anyone about getting any of the puppies they have for sale. C/p told the suspect he needed to leave and that she was calling the police, then suspect left. C/p stated she has seen a vehicle stopping in front of her house recently and her neighbor saw a vehicle stopping in front of her house as well.

Deputy responded to Harrington St. in reference to a stolen safe. Complainant believes it was taken the day prior when she wasn’t home. C/p stated only one person other than herself are the only ones that know where the safe is kept - the other person being her grandson who lives with her. C/p’s grandson stated he did not see anyone go in her bedroom. He did state to her that there were people at the house but no one went inside.

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO in reference to a stolen license plate.

Deputies were dispatched to Old Dellwood Rd. in reference to a residential alarm. Motion was advised to be interior. Deputies met with the homeowner and performed a walk-through of the location and found everything to be secure with no signs of tamper or forced entry.

September 27

Deputy unlocked a vehicle on Lake Luck Dr.

Deputy unlocked a vehicle at Plaza Pharmacy.

Deputy responded to Cowford Bridge Rd. in reference to an alarm. The alarm was set off by an exterminator when he went to leave the residence.

A large amount of marijuana was seized from East Meadowlake Pkwy.

September 28

Deputies, along with EmCo Fire units were dispatched to Flounder Rd. in reference to smoke coming from under a residence. The smoke was determined to be coming from ashes smoldering next to the back porch. Residence did not receive any damages.

Deputy was dispatched to Arden Dr. in reference to a vehicle unlock.

Complainant met with deputy at ECSO in reference to an anonymous report of a young boy that goes in the woods every morning wearing a hoodie and shoots until about 10 to 11 a.m. C/p stated he looks very young and this has been going on every day for a few days.

September 29

Deputies were dispatched to McKenzie Dr. in reference to a call of an elderly man who had fallen into a pond and was floating. It was later determined no such incident occurred.

Deputies were dispatched to Georgia Ave. in reference to a prowler. Complainant and witness stated they observed an unknown person outside their bedroom window with a flashlight. Deputies checked the area but did not locate any anyone. Deputies also checked structures on the property with witness who determined there to be no noted signs of tamper or theft.

Deputies responded to NW Railroad Ave. in reference to a domestic dispute between mother and son. Complainant advised he and his mother/suspect had been arguing and he decided to move out. C/p stated the suspect threw his bed frame outside and damaged it and kept threatening to beat him up. Suspect advised that c/p went into her home while she was not there and destroyed her property too.

Complainant went to ECSO to make a report.

Deputies responded to a call on Nunez-Lexsy Rd. in reference to threats made via phone and offender was on his way to the residence of the complainant. C/p stated offender was calling threatening to go to his house because he owed him money.

Deputies responded to Fairground Rd. in reference to a dog at large that was trying to bite complainant. Upon arrival, deputies were met at their vehicles by the dog who was extremely aggressive and was sprayed with pepper spray several times. The owner of the dog was located and informed that her dog was off the leash and was trying to attack her neighbors. C/p stated his horse was attacked by something the night prior and it might have been the same dog.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 East in reference to a suspicious person walking beside the roadway.

September 30

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 East in reference to offender making threats to complainant.

Deputy met with victim at EmCo Det. Ctr. in reference to a theft by conversion incident that occurred sometime in April when victim turned over his W2 forms to suspect with the expectation that his taxes would be processed and turned back over within a reasonable time. Victim further stated he also paid a $55 processing fee to suspect for services that were not provided. Upon further, investigation, it was determination that victim had been in contact with suspect via text messages in an attempt to resolve the incident and suspect had no intent on returning the tax forms to victim or providing any type of refund.

Deputy was dispatched to Redbud Ave. in reference to a subject having power cut off. Deputy spoke with complainant who stated her father/offender had cut her power off. Complainant stated her father was kicking her out of his house and she was going to be gone by Sunday but he went ahead and cut the power off.

Offender was stopping traffic on S. Main St. and deputy got offender out of the road and turned him over to Smith Activity Center.

Victim was driving on Overstreet Rd. when he ran into a low hanging service power line. Victim broke the line and had to stop to get the wire off his vehicle. A tree had fallen on the line. Ga Power arrived to fix the line.

October 1

Complainant stated he was traveling on Lambs Bridge Rd. and swerved to miss a deer and left the shoulder of the road and hit the side of the bridge.

Complainant stated she struck a deer on Old McLeod Bridge Rd.

October 2

Complainant struck a deer on Hwy 297.

Complainant was traveling on Badger Rd. when a deer came out and she swerved to miss it and struck a tree.

Deputy observed offender’s vehicle with one headlight, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender had suspended license and no insurance, and was transported to EmCo Jail.
