Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office has been notified of vandalism to have taken place at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery over the recent weekend. Desecration of any gravesite is considered to be disgraceful, disrespectful, unacceptable, and unlawful. Information regarding the individual(s) responsible for the defaced gravesite should be relayed to an investigator of the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office by calling 478-237-7526.
