According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…

August 28

Deputy received a report from complainant stating that an individual called her home, advised that he was with Medicare and that she qualified for benefits, and requested her Social Security Number.

Complainant stated he rented a residence on McKenzie Drive, offenders are in the process of being evicted, and wants it noted that the condition of the house was in very bad condition.

August 29

Deputies were dispatched to a Hwy 80 East business in reference to the owner noticing the door to his building inside the gate was open.  After looking around, he noticed his fence near the gate was taken down and locks were cut. Entrance was made, and multiple items were stolen from the building.

Officer spoke with complainant  who stated she was leaving Wayne’s One Stop when a truck followed her and was trespassing on her property.

Deputies responded to a Pinetucky Road residence in reference to a possible burglary in progress.

August 30

Deputies were dispatched to a Christopher Drive residence in reference to a domestic dispute.

Offender struck complainant's vehicle, causing moderate damage.

Deputies responded to a Sandy Lakes Road address in reference to burglary and criminal trespassing.

Officer responded to Canoochee-Garfield Road in reference to a vehicle off the roadway in the trees. 

August 31

Officer responded to a call on Hudson Road in reference to a male being beaten up and bloody.  Upon arrival, complainant/victim stated he was across the road at another residence when offender jumped him.

Deputies were dispatched to Hereford Circle in reference to a sex offense.

Complainant stated she had gotten calls about opening a bank account and giving the information to an unknown party.

Complainant stated offender plays loud music at all hours of the day and night, causing her to be unable to get any rest.

Complainant stated he was driving down Old Wadley Road when his truck went into a hole, causing damage to his front end.

September 1

Complainant reported a known subject threatened her through Facebook.  Later that night, the known subject reported that complainant put on Facebook that she was going to kill her.

Complainant stated offender sent her a text stating he was going to mess up some of her property.

Complainant stated offender went to his residence on Highway 80 and caused a scene, threatened him, and acted like she was going to hit his car.  Complainant also stated offender is out on bond with conditions to not go onto his property.

September 2

Complainant stated an unknown person opened a Discover card in his name.

Deputies responded to a McKenzie Drive residence in reference to someone trespassing on private property.

Deputies responded to a Spivey Lane residence in reference to a male not breathing. 

Complainant stated she noticed her four-wheeler missing from her residence.

Deputies were dispatched to McLeod Bridge Road in reference to someone finding some illegal substance and wanted to turn it in.

September 3

Complainant stated offender went to his residence looking for his girlfriend who parked her car at his house and busted out a bedroom window.  Upon arrival, deputies also saw that the front and back windshields and both passenger windows were busted out of the car.
