November 7

Deputies were dispatch3d to Hwy 1 South in reference to a dog that appeared to be injured. Animal Control was requested and responded to the location. A short time after, the dog was located and removed. The dog was badly injured and dragging both back legs. Animal Control took the dog to the shelter to seek treatment at the vet the following morning.

Deputies were dispatched to Sam Overstreet Rd. in reference to a residential alarm. Motion was advised to be to the front door. Deputies met with resident who advised the alarm had been set off by accident.

Deputies met with offender in reference to a civil issue. Offender advised of a TPO between himself and another offender and wanted deputies to be present while he removed items from the home.

November 8

Deputy was dispatched to Lake Luck Dr. in reference to a vehicle unlock.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 297 in reference to a single vehicle accident. Complainant advised she fell asleep while driving.

Complainant went to ECSO in reference to making a report about her vehicle tag not being received in the mail.

Deputies responded to Sycamore St, in reference to complainant calling 911 stating her and her daughter got into a fight and a knife was pulled.

November 9

Deputies arrived at Hardin Dr. for the purpose of an order to apprehend offender. The order indicated offender to be mentally ill/drug dependent and require involuntary treatment. Offender was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail to be further transported to ECR in Augusta for evaluation and treatment.

Complainant stated he received notices from “Quick Pass” out of NC that he needed to pay for tolls that a vehicle registered to him went through. C/p stated he cancelled the registration more than 2 years ago. The VIN was run and came back registered in NCC with a purchase date of 10/21.

Deputy was dispatched to Hebron Rd. in reference to an unwanted person. Complainant stated both offenders are always getting into arguments and the male offender will come to her residence after being told multiple timers not to come back.

November 10

Deputies were dispatched to Mustang Rd. in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, witness stated her 4-year-old niece was playing a game on her inactivated cell phone when she accidentally pressed 119 on the key pad of the phone and it called 911. Deputies saw the accidental phone call and deemed everything was ok.

Deputies responded to JM Spearman Rd. in reference to a vehicle being chased into Em. Co. by Treutlen Co. Sheriff’s office. While in route, 911 advised that the subjects felling from Treutlen deputies had just burglarized a church and fled the scene on an ATV. Deputies, along with GSP, searched the area but had negative contact.

Deputies responded to US 1 Bypass in reference to a stranded motorist. Motorist was transported the driver to the nearest gas station to get gas and took her back to her vehicle.

Offender was apprehended in Garfield for bond revocation and transported to EmCo Detention Center.

November 11

Deputy performed a VIN verification on Augusta Rd.

Deputies assisted GSP with a two-vehicle MVA on I16.

Deputies assisted GSP with a single vehicle MVA. Unknown driver had already left the scene. Deputy located a check stub belonging to the list offender. GSP called Det. from SPD to track offender. Det. arrived and tracked offender from the crash site on Price Williams Rd. back to Hwy 57, down Bird Flanders Rd. to Pinteucky Rd. Tracks then turned in the direction of Cowford Bridge Rd. GSP advised deputy to go to Asa Lindsey Rd., offenders address, and look for tracks. Deputy located a set of tracks leading from the dirt road into offender’s yard. GSP arrived and made contact with offender who admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.

November 12

Deputy responded to Womack Rd. in reference to an 18-wheeler stuck in the ditch.

Deputies responded to Old Savannah Rd. in reference to a residential alarm. No one came to the door and no signs of forced entry were seen.

Complainant explained that his son was in his vehicle and arrested at offender’s residence. Offender retrieved c/p’s cell phone and began opening his emails that has his business account information listed. C/p wanted offender to return the cell phone to him. Chief Deputy called offender to inquire about the cell phone and offender stated c/p’s son went and got his belongings and he only had one time to get the property from the residence as court ordered. Deputy explained to her that this had nothing to do with the son, that this was c/p asking for his property back. Offender stated that this was harassment and she would have to talk to her lawyer about it. Offender then stated that the phone was actually the ex’s/son’s phone. C/p was advised of the warrant/civil process. C/p advised that he was living in Canada and would not be able to come back because he did not have his Covid shots yet.

Deputies responded to Hwy 56 N. for shots fired. While in route, 911 advised that someone had been robbed and the suspects had shot several times. 911 did not give any details about injuries. Deputy spoke with witnesses who stated they had run from the residence and were unsure if the victim was injured. Deputy began searching for a suspected vehicle involved but did not go to the residence to make contact with anyone at the initial scene. Back-up arrived at the residence the incident happened at and spoke with subjects in the yard. Suspects stated no one had been shot and there seemed to be no injuries. Investigation ensued with investigators. Suspects were unable to be located at the time.

Deputy was informed that chopped wood had been stacked in the roadway on Harrison Dr. and was partially blocking the roadway. Upon arrival, deputy found stacked wood on Harrison Dr., along with several small fires. Deputy could not locate anyone who was related to the incident. The wood was stacked appx. 2 feet inn to the roadway from the shoulder and in the ditch. Deputy requested fire department to extinguish the fires since they were unattended to prevent unintended spread. Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fires. The wood was not moved due to it being a large amount, but not blocking travel on the roadway.

November 13

Deputies were dispatched to Sumer St. in reference to an irate female. Other deputies were on scene upon arrival. Offender had calmed down and was talking to deputies and left on foot walking to her grandmothers on Advantage Lane. Deputies had just gone back into service when they got a call to Advantage Lane where offender had made it to and was causing problems, trying to get them to let her in. Upon arrival, offender was yelling at a subject in the house and beating on the door. Offender was placed under arrest for DOC and transported to EmCo Jail.

Complainant state that while checking on his boss’ hunting reserve at the end of Island Dr., offender went back to the property knocking down the gate to the entrance messing up the hinges on the gate. C/p later called by phone stating offender had been sending threatening text messages to his son’s phone stating her son was going to beat him up.

Deputy responded to Wanda Ln. in reference to a call concerning ATV motor vehicles riding on the road. Deputy made concentrated patrol between the area of Fairground Rd. up to Old Wadley Rd. with no contact.
