September 17

Offender was located on Lambs Bridge Rd. when officers went to conduct a Probation search. Offender was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant for Superior Court without incident.

A Probation search was done at offender’s residence on Lambs Bridge Rd.

September 18

Complainant went to ECSO to file a report on offender, stating offender is the mother of complainant and she had been living with her on Scarboro Church Rd. C/p stated offender got mad at her because she and her child was going to spend the night with a friend and offender told c/p not to return to the residence and that she was going to take the child from her. C/p stated that ever since that occurred, she has tried to get her and her child’s clothing from the residence but offender refuses to let her get them. C/p also stated she owns a business at the residence as well and all the equipment is also there, and the value is over $30,000, and offender refuses to let her get the equipment. C/p stated she is also fearful offender would take her child and not return her.

Deputy responded to the area of Piney Grove Rd. in Midville for a noise complaint. Complainant stated the subject had loud music coming from a residence. Upon arrival, deputy found the music to be coming from a residence and the resident was sitting outside. Deputy made contact with the resident and he could hear the music, mostly bass, from the roadway in front of the residence. Deputy asked offender to turn the music down and stated he would and walked inside to turn it down. Deputy then went to c/p’s house and could still hear the light beat of the bass but not the actual music. C/p stated there was a court order in place and that she could not get in touch with code enforcement.

September 20

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 23 N. in reference to a suspicious person sitting on a guardrail. Deputies traveled the area but did not locate anyone sitting on guardrails or walking along the side of the roadway.

Deputies responded to a missing person on Nora Blvd. Upon arrival, complainant stated her boyfriend was missing. Victim was last seen traveling through Soperton towards Vidalia. After receiving info on victim’s clothing and vehicle, 911 sent out a BOLO. Deputies then began searching, and victim showed up to the location on foot stating his vehicle broke down and he walked home.

Deputies assisted SPD with a warrant on N. Coleman St. Offender was detained and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Project St. in reference to a locked vehicle. Made contact with complainant and unlocked the vehicle with no damage.

Deputies were dispatched to Johnson Powell Dr. in reference to a domestic violence in progress. Deputies met with victim/complainant who stated she was inside her residence when offender went to the front door with a bar like object trying to pry the door open. Once offender was unable to open the door, offender then went across the street to her residence ad got a knife. Offender then went back to the residence and began yelling “you killed my kids”, then broke the side window and climbed into the residence. After climbing in the window, c/p started praying. Offender again started yelling “you killed my kids” and picked up a glass lamp and threw it on the living room floor towards c/p. After breaking the lamp, offender then picked up a cigarette roller and began hitting c/p in the head and face with it. C/p stated after she was hit several times in the head and eye, she attempted to get away from offender and she began pulling c/p’s hair while punching her. Offender then fled the scene and went to her house across the street. Deputies then went to offender’s residence and she was instructed numerous times to come out to tell her side of the story, but she did not comply with the instructions.

Victim stated he pulled up in his yard and the neighbor’s 2 pit bulls went after him, at which time he pulled a weapon and shot 2 times in the ground to scare the dogs off. Offender is staying at the dog owner’s residence looking after the dogs and was told he was going to have to keep the dogs under control. Deputy also advised him that if there were any more complaints, Animal Control would have to be called.
Deputies responded to Angela Dr. in reference to a civil dispute over property.

Deputy responded to Griffin Ferry Rd. in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputy made contact with victim stated he was ok. Deputy advised him that complainant had not seen or heard from him in a couple of days and became concerned. Victim advised he was out of town during the time.

Victim’s 3 sisters wanted to file a report that they believe offender is getting victim’s money by intimidating and brainwashing him. Complainant stated victim is mentally challenged and is being taken advantage of by offender. C/p’s were advised to consult a lawyer to get control of victim’s finances and to contact ECSO if offender returns from NY and continues to prey on victim.

September 21

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 57 E. in reference to a tractor trailer hauling cattle stuck in a ditch, close to overturning. The tractor trailer was leaving from Hooks Cattle Farm and became stuck in the ditch. Cattle were removed from the trailer and the trailer was removed from the ditch. No injuries were reported.

Deputy responded to Fairground Rd. in reference to a neighbor flying a drone on complainant’s property. Deputy met with c/p who advised that the Drug Task Force has been watching her house for about 2 weeks and a female agent had s been flying a drone around her house. C/p stated the activity is causing her hands and arms to swell and she has been getting a metallic taste in her mouth during all this, along with headaches. C/p wants deputy to make the Drug Task Force aware and to tell them to stop and stated that they are more than welcome to go to her residence and sitting down with her, but to please stop with the drones.

Deputy received a report from complainant advising he was on Lambs Bridge Rd. headed towards Metter and passed a vehicle with a LED light on. Complainant stated he had his windows down and heard a gun shot coming from the vehicle as it passed him. Offenders did not slow down or turn around, just kept driving towards Swainsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 297 in reference to complainant catching her neighbor coming out of her home. Upon arrival, c/p advised that she went home unexpectedly on her lunch break and found offender coming out of her camper that is under construction. C/p stated she and offender do not get along since a previous incident that occurred between her 14-year-old daughter and offender. C/p advised that since that incident, offender was told not to return to her property. C/p stated offender was intoxicated and advised that he was looking for his tools and c/p told him they had been returned by her boyfriend weeks ago. Deputies then tried to make contact with offender, but got no answer and could not hear anyone in the home. C/p was advised of the process to seek in resolving this matter further.

Deputies responded to Red Oak Dr. in reference to a domestic dispute that resulted in damage to a vehicle. Offender advised he was arguing with his girlfriend and she tried pulling off in her car and he grabbed the door handle as she drove off and it broke off. C/p advised that they were arguing but it never got physical, and she didn’t notice the damage until she pulled onto the roadway. Both parties were advised of the process to seek in resolving the matter and both agreed to stay away from each other for the night.

Complainants stated they let their aunt, offender, get their kids due to the grandfather living with them and he tested positive for Covid and when he finally came home from the hospital and was doing good, they called offender and told her they wanted their kids back home but she refused. Deputy was contacted by another deputy who stated offender contacted ECSO stating c/p’s had been calling stating they had put out an amber alert and was taking warrants for her because she was refusing to bring the kids back, so she called because she did not want to get in trouble. Deputy advised offender that unless she had court paperwork stating she had custody of the children, she needed to return them to c/p’s or she would get in trouble, so offender agreed to take the children back when she got off of work. Deputy advised c/p’s of what the other deputy stated to him and that if there were any more issues, to call 911.

Deputy responded to Hwy 192 N. in reference to a possible drug overdose. While enroute, deputy passed TCPD in his marked patrol unit traveling West on Hwy 80 E. TCPD met with EMS at Rustic Grill and turned offender over to EMS for treatment and transport.

Complainant stated he went to his deer stand and located enclosed trailer abandoned on his hunting land along with his deer stand missing.

Victim’s stated someone was prowling around their houses. Victim at one Scarboro Church Rd. address stated she saw a flashlight in her backyard and the other victim stated someone beat on her bedroom window. Both victims stated they have been seeing a male subject walking the neighborhood. A picture of the possible suspect was sent to deputy.

Deputies and SPD traveled to Summer St. in reference to locating offender. Offender was the subject of a BOLO out of Screven Co. advising him to be a suspect in a murder investigation. Offender was known to be at the location. Offender was not located at the time, being advised to be traveling in a described vehicle. Through a previous incident involving offender, he is also known to be traveling in another described vehicle. Info was passed on the Screven Co.

September 22

Deputies were dispatched to Williams Rd. in reference to criminal trespass. Complainant advised that offender and a female were in her back yard. Deputies were unable to make contact with c/p at the residence, nor any others were observed in or near c/p’s yard.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 221 S. in reference to a vehicle unlock. Vehicle was unlocked without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Arthur Hutcheson Rd. in reference to offender not returning complainant’s vehicle. C/p stated offender had been living with her since July and recently moved out, and allowed offender to borrow her vehicle appx. 2 weeks ago. C/p stated she advised offender she needed the vehicle back three days ago and offender advised that the vehicle was not running and hade struck two different animals causing damages to the vehicle. C/p stated since talking to offender, she is no longer able to make contact with her and she still hasn’t returned the vehicle.

ECSO deputies held out at a Johnson Powell Rd address in Midville to attempt to serve a warrant on offender. Deputies knocked on the camper door and the occupant responded asking who it was. Deputies called out offender’s name and she responded, and she was asked to exit the camper and she refused. Deputies got approval to enter the camper and were able to identify offender and the wanted subject and placed her in handcuffs. Offender stated several times that deputies were harassing her, that they were going to kill her, and that her mother did not permit deputies to take said actions. Offender pleaded not to be taken into custody, but was walked to deputy’s patrol unit, making the same statements. Offender was searched and deputy felt a hard object in the groin area and offender became very antsy when deputy attempted to search to make sure she had no weapons or illegal substances on her. The area was checked briefly and deputy did not observe anything at glance. Upon arrival to the EmCo Detention Center, offender refused to strip offender’s clothes and boots off. Deputy and a female jailer attempted to take offender’s personal clothing off with no success. Offender stated she was high on meth and she had been smoking meth for 3 days with her mother. Offender stated she could hear her children screaming and her mother had convinced her she had killed the children. Offender did eventually take off her boots and socks, throwing them very had at the ground. Offender also that if she was made to take her clothes off, she would smack her head against the wall. Offender still refused to take off her personal clothing and flashed the deputy and jailer her breast area and genital area. Offender was then placed in a holding cell and calmed down.

September 23

Deputies were dispatched to I16 in reference to a stranded motorist. Complainant advised he had run out of gas while traveling East on I16 and was transported to the Red Roof where he was able to get gas in a container. C/p was returned to his vehicle with the gas allowing him to remove the vehicle to the gas station.

Deputy met with complainant at the ECSO and stated her soon to be ex-husband took her washer, dryer, and a mattress from her residence to Dublin. Listed items are in c/p’s name and have not been fully paid for and Farmers Furniture wants them back. C/p stated she has reached out to her husband several times and eh won’t deliver the items back to Farmer’s Furniture.

September 24

Deputy responded to Kem Rd. for a male subject threatening to shoot the complainant and others. Upon arrival, deputy made contact with c/p and victims who stated the male subject was their neighbor and gave his alias name. Deputy was able to identify who the subject was from prior incidents. C/p and victims stated offender had been drinking and was out shooting his gun, waking them up and stated they asked offender to stop and he stated he would shoot them. They stated they were afraid he may return and harm them. Deputy was informed that offender ran into the woods prior to him arriving and that it was not likely that they would be able to locate him. They were informed to call law enforcement back if he returned and bothered them at the residence. Deputy informed them that they could take out their own warrants through the court.

September 25

Deputies were dispatched to McKenzie Dr. in reference to a bicycle laying in the roadway. Upon arrival, deputy met with the caller and observed a bicycle lying in the intersection. Also lying nearby was a dead deer and what happened to be parts to a vehicle. Due to the bike having damages, it is believed to have fallen from a vehicle that struck the deer. The bike was left off the roadway in the event the owner returned to look for it.

Deputy assisted GSP with a single vehicle MVA on Hwy 56 S.

Deputies were dispatched to Fairground Rd. in reference to multiple ATVs in the area. Caller advised there to be 4 – 5 ATVs racing each other and driving recklessly. Deputies traveled the area and made contact with ATVs but none were observed driving recklessly or racing each other.

Deputies traveled to SW Railroad Ave. in reference to locating offender who was wanted by Toombs Co. SO in reference to an accident which previously occurred in their county. Offender was located at the residence and detained and transported to Toombs/Emanuel Co. line where he was taken into custody by Toombs Co. SO.

Deputies were dispatched to Ed Youmans Rd. in reference to criminal trespass. Complainant stated a male subject was standing in his brother’s yard looking in the window of the residence. C/p stated when the male was spotted, he ran into a nearby wooded area. C/p stated the same male subject had been at his mother’s residence two nights ago trying to gain entry to her residence. C/p stated the male ran into the woods on this occasion when spotted by the homeowner. C/p further stated he owns several hundred acres of land in the area and believes the unknown offender to be “camping out” nearby the residences. Deputies walked the wooded area with complainant but were unable to locate offender.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 1 N. in the area of Forest Ranger Rd. for a vehicle accident/ Upon arrival, deputy met with complainant who stated he was traveling North when a deer ran out and struck the front of his vehicle. The vehicle had disabling damage and c/p had someone on the way to get him and tow the vehicle. C/p stated he was not injured.

September 26

Complainant stated he tried to call his child’s mother several times in order to set up a time and location in order to exchange their child and the mother has changed her phone number and recently moved to Warner Robins to an unknown address.

Deputies were dispatched to Hawhammock Church Rd. in reference to a domestic in progress. Upon arrival, complainant stated he and offender/son got into an argument and he wanted offender to leave the residence and go to his mother’s house. Offender had been drinking earlier and he did not want to leave. Deputies talked to both parties and mediated the situation and offender gathered several items of clothing and left.

Deputies responded to McKinney’s Pond in reference to an irate customer. Upon arrival, complainant advised that offender left shortly after she called 911 and stated the female subject was upset because of the wait time to received service and accused them of being racist and left without further incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Hebron Rd. in reference to a missing person.
