May 17
Complainant stated she and offender were together in another jurisdiction and they agreed for offender to take c/o’s pit bull puppy to stay at offender’s mother’s house until it was time for offender to go to TN to work. C/o stated it is now time for her to get the dog back but offender and his mother refuse to let her get him.
Complainant stated he gave his permission for offender to get his property from a motel room in Atlanta while he was incarcerated and offender took appx. $2500 worth of items belonging to him and kept them. C/o also stated offender went into his Bank of America acct. and transferred $3000 into his CashApp acct. C/o stated that these offenses should be handled by our deputies because he was locked up in Em. Co. when they occurred and requested an Investigator to call him.
Deputies were dispatched to Crider in reference to an animal collision. Complainant stated she was traveling on Griffin Ferry Rd. when she struck a deer, causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
Deputy received a call from complainant advising that he made a report through Baldwin Co. in reference to his stolen vehicle. C/o stated he was in the hospital at the time his vehicle was stolen and he suspects that his neighbor stole it. C/o stated that another neighbor advised that he heard offender was on his way to Oak Park to pick up a female.
Complainant stated offender put her personal info in an article without her permission.
Deputy was doing routine patrol on Hwy 56 N near Blun Community when he noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, at which time he used his Radar to determine the vehicle was traveling 83 MPH. The vehicle pulled off the side of the road and the driver fled on foot into the woods. Appx. 2 hours later, deputy made contact with the male and as he pulled off the road behind him, offender took off running through the woods back towards Summertown. Deputy then called for assistance. While both deputies were patrolling Summertown, the male subject was observed walking on the railroad tracks. After a short chase, offender was apprehended. Offender stated the reason he was running was because he left a boy’s home in SC and did not want to go back. SC did have offender listed as a missing juvenile.
Deputies and SPD responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Modoc Rd. and Fairground Rd. Upon arrival, they were unable to locate anyone in or around the vehicle and there was a female’s wallet and cash sitting in the front seat of the vehicle and within minutes of being on scene, 911 advised that offender, which is the owner of the vehicle, called in stating she wanted to report her vehicle stolen and that it had been missing for two hours. 911 also advised that offender was at a Hwy 56 N. residence. Another deputy and police officer were advised to ride to the said location to talk with offender about what she stated to 911. When they arrived, offender refused to go outside to speak with them and while at the residence, they stated the boyfriend showed up and tried calling offender by phone and when she answered she told him that she told them she did not want to make a report and still refused to go outside and speak with them. Deputy and officer stated they got the boyfriend to try calling her one more time to explain to her that they needed her to go outside and speak with them or she could possibly be charged with false report of a crime and improper use of 911 communications and she stated to them that she did not give a *blank* and hung up the phone. The vehicle was removed from the scene and transported to the County Impound Lot.
May 18
Deputy was traveling on Lambs Bridge Rd. when he observed a male walking beside the roadway. As the deputy approached, the male extended his arm out in a manner that indicated he was trying to get a ride. Deputy made contact with offender who identified himself and stated he was walking from his residence and was trying to get to his girlfriend’s house near Thompson’s Mini Mart. Offender was advised he would give him a ride to the location. A check of ECSO outstanding warrant list indicated offender to have an outstanding felony warrant through SPD. Officer arrived and confirmed the warrant and placed offender under arrest.
Deputies were dispatched to Sunset Dr. in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arriving on scene, deputies met with caller and offender. It was advised the incident was a verbal altercation between both parties. One offender was advised to have left the residence prior to deputy’s arrival. Other offender advised the two would stay separated for the rest of the night to avoid further conflict.
Deputy was traveling on Modoc Rd. when he observed an abandoned vehicle bedside the roadway. When the tag was run through 911, it showed that the tag belonged to a different vehicle belonging to someone else. The VIN was run through 911 which indicated the vehicle to have expired registration and no valid insurance. Vehicle was towed with a hold being placed on it for proper tag and insurance.
Deputy made contact with complainant via phone call in reference to a suspicious vehicle traveling on Drew Bennett Rd.
Complainant stated victim’s grandmother picked victim up from c/o’s residence and took her to New York where the father lives, stating she would have her back by Wed. or Thurs. Offender told c/o he would not bring victim back because c/o is on drugs. C/o stated she and offender have not been to court for custody but she was in the process of filing the needed paperwork and needed a report.
Complainant stated offender has been becoming violent towards him and other family members and stated offender believes other family members are taking his land.
Complainant stated he was traveling on US 1 N. and hit something in the roadway, busting his oil pan.
Complainant stated offender has been sending her threatening messages on messenger. C/o could not give a location or address on offender other than possibly Monroe, GA or FL. C/o was advised to call 911 if offender contacted her personally. C/o believes the threats are stemming from a previous incident.
May 19
Complainant stated him and offender recently broke up and she sent him a text stating that if he didn’t give her $700, she was going to take out a loan with his information.
Complainant stated while traveling on Lanier Rd, a low hanging tree caught the side of his trailer causing extensive damage.
Deputies responded to Hwy 80 E. for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, deputy spoke with both parties and complainant stated she and her boyfriend were having a verbal argument because she wanted to leave. C/o stated offender did not physically harm her or threaten her in any way, she just wanted them to talk to offender. C/o further stated she slapped offender because he was curing at her even though he did not harm her or make her feel threatened with physical violence. Deputy spoke with offender who stated he had trust issues because his male friends always steal his girlfriends. Offender stated c/o had been spending time with a male neighbor and he was jealous. He further stated he did not want c/o to leave him and that was why he was upset. Offender stated c/o did not threaten him but she did slap him across the face. Offender further stated he did not want anything bad to happen to c/o and that he would not take warrants out on her given the option because he wanted to fix the relationship. Parties both stated there would be no further issue because c/o was intending to leave directly after to pick up her son and take him back to the residence.
May 20
Deputy responded to SPD for a damaged vehicle. Officer stated he opened the driver’s side front door of the police transport van and it slipped out of his hand, over extending into the driver’s side back door of the vehicle parked next to it. Deputy observed a small scratch to the area of the neighboring vehicle.
Complainant stated he and his girlfriend were meeting with her soon to be ex-husband so offender could see his child. C/o stated when they met, ex-husband walked over to the passenger side of offender’s truck and started talking to his ex-fiancé about the child they have together and the victim was on the driver side of the truck talking to offender about their child when offender pushed the victim so he ran over to the driver side of the truck to get in between victim and offender and offender slammed the truck in drive causing the door of the truck to hit him in the head and then offender started doing donuts with the truck, running over his ankle while he was on the ground. Offender agreed that they met so he could see his child but the victim started arguing with him then snatched his door open and refused to move and used one arm to try and push the victim away from his vehicle and that’s when c/o went to his side of the vehicle and grabbed him by the shirt trying to pull him out of the vehicle so he put the truck in drive to try to get away from c/o and that’s when c/o go t hit by the door. C/o did have a small cut on his forehead and offender’s shirt was ripped around the neckline. Neither party wanted to pursue charges at the time.

Complainant stated offender keeps calling and harassing her on the phone and on social media.
Deputies responded to Hwy 56 N. for a theft report. Upon arrival, deputy spoke with c/o who stated that a friend of his gave him a freezer and due to no outlets being present in the front of his residence, he had to place it in the rear of the house and a few days after placing it there, he noticed that the freezer was gone and when he asked around, he noticed one of his neighbor’s had gotten a new freezer recently. C/o did some looking around and was able to find the freezer just inside a neighbor’s house and when he confronted the neighbor, he was blocked.
Deputy responded to NW Railroad Ave. due to being informed there was a fight. Upon arrival, the two were no longer in a physical fight but it was obvious they had been.
Warrants from Johnson County were served on offender on Bonnie Rd.
May 21
Offender was located on W. Main St. and taken into custody on an order to apprehend through Em. Probate Court. Offender was transported to EMC ER where he was released for treatment and evaluation, then transported back to W. Main St.
Deputies were dispatched to Johnson Gay Rd. to confirm a 911 call of a tree being down in the roadway. Deputies traveled to the location and observed what appeared to be multiple trees down in the roadway. Em. Co. Road Dept. was contacted and responded to clear the roadway.
May 22
Deputy met with complainant who stated she had joint custody with her daughter for her 3 children. C/o stated that she was returning the children as court order advised but one of the children did not want to stay with the mother. C/o advised that the mother became irate when the child did not want to go with her and snatched him by the arm. She then turned the c/o’s vehicle off and said “you’re not going any *blank* where”. C/o advised that the mother threw an object and it hit her in the chest. Deputy observed redness around c/o’s chest. C/o then left the area with the children.
Deputies were dispatched to EMC ER in reference to multiple patients with injuries from a physical altercation that occurred at a graduation party on Keas Mill Pond Rd.
Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 1 S. for a fight. Deputies met with security who advised offender was attempting to fight with another subject. From what deputies were able to gather, there was no physical altercation that occurred. The incident was advised to be a verbal altercation that security intervened in before it became physical. Offender, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, advised he was upset that his baby mama had shown up with another male. Offender stated witness had advised him she would be in another town with friends for the night and he wanted to fight the other male but was stopped by security. Owners of the establishment wanted all parties to leave the location for the night to avoid further conflict. Offender was unable to make contact with anyone who could pick him up so deputies transported him and another male to the Sunset Inn.
May 23
Deputy received a phone call of a crashed and abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle which appeared to have received moderate damages in the incident. A wallet containing a paper ID and credit cards belonging to listed offender was located in the vehicle. Vehicle was towed.
Deputies were dispatched to Heron Ln. in reference to shots fired.
Deputies were dispatched to Villa River Properties in reference to an alarm. Upon arriving, all doors and windows were checked and appeared to be secure with no signs of tamper or forced entry.
Deputies responded to Twin City Community Center for shots fired. Offenders were not on scene when deputies arrived. Deputy was flagged down close to the area of the incident and spoke with witnesses who stated they saw a fight break out in the yard and some guys from Metter pulled out a gun and began shooting and said “this is how we do it in Metter”, and fled the area. Deputy recovered 1 casing from the scene.
Offender was taken into custody for multiple outstanding felony warrants.
Complainant struck a deer causing disabling damage to the front of the vehicle.
Deputy responded to Christopher Dr. in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputy met with a few neighbors and learned the victim was in the hospital in Augusta due to complications with a pre-existing health condition.
Complainant stated he stopped to turn left onto Keas Mill Pond Rd. when offender ran into the back of his vehicle and fled. Deputy made contact with offender on W. Main St. and he stated he was following c/o to a graduation party and did run into the back of c/o’s vehicle but him and c/o proceeded to go to the party and that nothing was said about the incident. After the party, c/o called 911 to report someone ran into the back of his car and continued driving towards Adrian.
