According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…
January 13
Deputies responded to Leopard Dr. in reference to a dispute.
Complainant stated the tag on his trailer was missing.
Complainant state when she left her residence, she noticed her mailbox, along with others, had been destroyed.
January 14
Deputies responded to Mimosa Rd. in reference to a male subject riding around the property destroying the yard and running over stuff.
Complainant stated her son and friends are always beating and making a lot of noise real late at night while she and her husband are trying to sleep and she’s tired of it.
Deputy responded to Canoochee Rd. in reference to a vehicle accident.
Sheriff’s office was contacted by St. Johns County, FL, about a welfare check. Detective stated subject was last seen in St. Johns County around 0400 hours without her insulin medicine, cell phone, and 5-year-old grandchild. Detective stated subject is believed to be headed to her sister’s house in Swainsboro.
Complainant stated that golf carts and 4-wheelers keep riding up and down Old Wadley Rd. with children on them.
Complainant stated her 10-year-old son was walking to the mailbox when a brown and tan German Shepard bit him.
Complainant reported offender stole 2 cans of beer.
Complainant stated he received text messages from a known male who made threatening remarks in reference to his ex-girlfriend whom he has a restraining order on, and believes his ex-girlfriend got him to contact him.
January 15
Deputy met with complainant at the ER in reference to a dog bite.
Victim’s fence was damaged on Hwy 56 N by a vehicle and various pieces of the vehicle were left at the scene. The vehicle was found at Summertown Store and towed.
Complainant stated a snowblower was shipped to a MI business, however 6 bags of cat litter was shipped back as a fraudulent return.
January 17
Deputy spoke with complainant who stated she has been having an ongoing issue with her ex-boyfriend stalking her. She found cigarette butts and a honey bun wrapper in her yard and knows that’s the kind of cigarettes he smokes.
Deputy spoke with complainant who stated he needed to report an assault but victim did not want a report done on her behalf.
Deputies were dispatched to Foskey Rd. in reference to a welfare check on victim. Victim stated she was fine and that nothing had gone on and did not know why they were there. Appx. An hour later, complainant showed up at the jail and stated that the offender has been staying at her residence and he threatens the victim, puts his hands on her, steals her money, and is doing drugs in her house.
Complainant advised that her Straight Talk phone number had been forge ported and offender has her number and has been texting her boyfriend and taunting them.
Victim was traveling on Old Wadley Rd. when he failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a tree.
January 18
Deputies were dispatched to Trout Trail in reference to her trail camera being stolen from her driveway. She stated it was installed after recent events of stalking/harassment. She also stated the camera sends alerts and photos to her cell phone when activated and she stopped getting them and found the camera to be gone and believes it’s her ex-boyfriend whom she has an active stalking order against.
Deputies were dispatched to Johnson Powell Rd. in reference to a possible domestic. Upon arrival, complainant stated her daughter had was not acting right and eft her residence walking and she wanted someone to check on her to make sure she wasn’t doing anything crazy.
Deputies assisted SPD with the search of a vehicle and suspects involved in several entering auto reports from different apartment complexes around town. Contact was made and 3 suspects were arrested for further investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to Pruitt Health in reference to an altercation between patients. Offender and victim were involved in a verbal altercation, resulting in offender striking victim with an open back hand. They were sharing a room, but have since been moved to separate locations.
