ECI FBLA from the Middle and High school level attended the Georgia FBLA Region 4 Conference on Monday, January 30, 2023. Over 300 members from region 4 attended the conference. During the evening, members participated in various performance competitions and leadership workshops.
Workshops include FBLA Statesmen Trivia, Socialization and Communication, Building Confidence in Public Speaking, Personal Finance Management, and Communication Skills.
These members successfully brought home awards during the Awards of Excellence Program. Winners included: Middle School level chapter: In Business Math: Amelia Meadows-5th, Camden Hall-3rd, and Madison Bell-1st; Business Etiquette: Lawson Frye-4th; Critical Thinking: (Team Event) Lawson Frye and Camden Hall-2nd; Elevator Speech: Anniston O’Dell-1st; Mission and Pledge: Madison Bell-2nd; Leadership: Lauran Bedgood-4th. Many of these have advanced to Georgia FBLA Middle School State Leadership Conference in Covington at the end of the month!
The High School level chapter: In Economics: Will Taylor-10th; FBLA Knowledge: Ansley Moxley-5th; Business Communication: Emma Lai Tyam-3rd; Intro to Business Presentation: (Team Event) Nataleigh Belcher and Emma Lai Tyam-1st; Job Interview: Ansley Moxley-1st; Public Speaking: Lily Kate Robertson-1st; Sales Presentation: (Team Event) Will Sasser, Will Taylor, and Mackenzie Davis-2nd. These two girls Competed at Fall Leadership Conference in November: Client Service: Braliey Radford-1st; Impromptu Speaking: Emma Lai Tyam. Many of these have advanced to Georgia FBLA High School State Leadership Conference in Atlanta at the beginning of March!
