The David Emanuel Academy Varsity boys basketball team hosted the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguars for the first round of the state playoffs on Wednesday, February 22. The DEA Eagles won the game 75-46 which continued their season into the Elite 8. Jesse Moore led the Eagles in scoring 20 points, Billy Martin had 16 points, Randon Williams contributed with 14 points, Tony Sutton put up 8 points, Landon Lindsey added 6 points, Racyn Faircloth and Peyton Lee each scored 4 points, and Jay Carter had 3 points.
