On Saturday, January 21st, the David Emanuel Academy Eagles gathered together with the Pinewood Christian Academy Patriots in Stillmore to host a benefit for a very special man- Andy Callaway. Coach Callaway holds a special place in the hearts of these two schools as he has spent years coaching and teaching students that have walked the halls in each place. It was a fun day of basketball and a great fundraiser to honor Coach Callaway and encourage him in his fight against cancer. In Coach Callaway’s words, he was “humbled, grateful, and blessed beyond measure.” The love and support shown by the Eagles and Patriots displayed his motto, GATA- God Always Touches Andy!
