The Emanuel Arts Council presented three short Christmas plays on Dec. 16th and 17th at The Kalmanson Gallery of Emanuel Arts Council. The plays were made possible through a generous grant from Mill Creek Foundation and sponsored by the City of Swainsboro.

The three short sketches were called "The Elf Rebellion," "The Christmas Machine" and "The Bestest Christmas Ever in Texas." The sketches were written by Don Zolidis. Director of the play was EAC board member Ron Ellison, who was also in the cast. Other cast members were Desmal Purcell, Amber Purcell, Jessica Palumbo, Virginia Lee Palumbo, Kenny Griffin, Alex Smith, Beau Gunn, Emmi Lai Tyam, Violet Lai Tyam, Sheppard Purcell, Matthew Fordham Jr., Deanna Ryan, Miracle Joiner, and Jacquie Brasher.

Admission was free to both performances of the plays, and seats were available for reservations. Both nights recorded full houses through reservations, with all seats reserved. The audience was thoroughly entertained, and laughter filled the gallery during all three sketches. Musical performances in between each sketch featured Sammy Glover, Beau Gunn, and Elyce Gunn singing Christmas songs.
