Durden Banking Company had the honor of presenting area high school graduates with $500.00 scholarships. All area high school graduating seniors had the opportunity to submit essays related to community banking. Of those essays submitted, a senior from each area high school was chosen. Winners included Peyton Free from David Emanual Academy presented by Luke Lanier, Elizabeth Millsaps from Emanual County Institute presented by Matt Donaldson and Wade Johnson, and Lindsey Dalton from Swainsboro High School presented by Zach Proctor. Durden Banking Company is very proud of the local winners, as well as all graduating seniors, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors.
