At 8:02 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, Emanuel County EMS, firefighters from Garfield and Twin City, and sheriff’s deputies, were dispatched to Canoochee-Garfield Road by Mount Olivet Church Road for a crash.
Arriving units found a Chevrolet Spark LT on its roof in the field. The female driver appeared to have fallen asleep, went off the road, struck a driveway culvert, went airborne, and rolled to a stop. She was evaluated by EMS and refused transport.
Deputies conducted the crash investigation.
