Mrs. Delores (Dee) M. Wright Frecker, age 90, of Swainsboro, died Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Summer Willow. Funeral services were held Monday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at Hawhammock Baptist Church with Reverend Cail Pressey and Reverend Mark Galo officiating. Interment followed in the Church cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, July 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. 
Pallbearers were Vincent Spencer, Anthony Frecker, Sean Patrick, Austin Denney, John Lane, Drone Hudson, and Billy Edenfield. Honorary Pallbearers were Summer Willow residents and staff, and the members of the Women of Wisdom Sunday School Class.
Ms. Frecker was born March 14, 1931, to Rathbone Monroe and Jane Maxwell French Wright. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio, and formerly of Newark, Ohio, but lived in Swainsboro for the past 44 years. Mrs. Frecker was a member of Hawhammock Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. During Upwards season at Hawhammock, you could always count on “Mr. Bob” and “Mrs. Dee” every Saturday making sure that all of the Coaches and Volunteers were fed and not in need of anything. She was an active member of the Emanual Medical Center Volunteers, a past member of the board of Classic Buffing and Polishing, a member of Dayspring Emmaus Community, and a member of the Swainsboro Country Club for many years. Dee loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and golfing. During her spare time, she always had either some type of needles or a golf club in her hand. You could always count on her to be a prayer warrior for any need. Mrs. Frecker is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert (Bob) H. Frecker; son, David L. Spencer; 2 brothers, John and Richard Wright; and sister, Bonnie McWherter.   
Mrs. Frecker is survived by a son, Kevin (Beverly) Frecker of Mishawaka, IN; daughter, Bethann (Edwin) Patrick of Swainsboro; daughter-in-law Beth Spencer (Drone) Hudson of Swainsboro; seven grandchildren, Ashley Spencer (Mark) Galo of Statesboro, Vincent (Laura) Spencer of Braselton, GA, Tricia (Brian) Koch of Gilbert, AZ, Tony Frecker (Lenndra Helm) of Middlebury, IN, Sean (Kayce) Patrick of Trion, GA, Faith Patrick (John Lane) of Twin City, and Maggie Patrick (Austin) Denney of Clyo, GA; 12 great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Reed Frecker of Middlebury, IN, Ainsley, Aspen, and Andrew Koch of Gilbert, AZ, Adeline and Spencer Galo of Statesboro, Amelia and Davis Spencer of Braselton, GA, Jaxson and Bradley Patrick of Trion, GA, and Millie Kate Denney of Clyo, GA; three sisters, Doris Van Fossen (her twin) of Newark, OH, Jane (Jim) Wilson of Vincennes, IN, and Roseann Cook of Richmond, VA.
