The DEA Eagles JV basketball teams traveled to Screven Christian Academy on Thursday, January 19. The JV DEA girls played first and won 24-13. Bailey McNure led the team with 7 points, Emily McRae scored 5 points, Payton Peebles and Aubrey Scott both had 4 points apiece, followed by Rayleigh Faircloth and Kaley Flowers contributing 2 points each.
After this game, the David Emanuel Academy JV boys won their game with a final score of 34-7 against Screven Christian. In this game, Ethan Fields led the team with 10 points, Layton Terwilliger scored 5 points, Lake Woods contributed with 4 points, Charlie McRae, Eli Way, Sailor Powell, Hayden Powell, Tucker Free, Paxton Dixon, and Mason Williams all had 2 points apiece, and Jack Evan Fields had 1 point.
