DEA honor graduate biographies

Lexsy Jordyn Bell is the daughter of Scottie Bell and Lori Bell. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend East Georgia State College then transfer to Georgia Southern. After completing core classes, she plans to transfer to Augusta University to pursue a degree as an orthodontist.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Never take anything for granted. Time flies by when you’re having fun. I didn’t believe everyone when they said, “Life goes by in the blink of an eye,”. Enjoy every last moment and always strive to do your best.”
Bailey Lane Burke is the daughter of Joey and Terri Burke. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend East Georgia State College to obtain an associate’s degree and later transfer to obtain a degree in business.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“After my high school experience, I would say to enjoy every minute of it because it goes away in a blink of an eye.”
Garrett Broughton Claxton is the son of Joey and Valerie Claxton. His plans after high school graduation include attending Georgia Southern University.
AnnaKade Marie Clemens is the daughter of Alf and Kristy Wimberly and Dane Clemens. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend East Georgia State College to begin working a degree in business administration. She also plans to be active in student body organizations as well as continue serving her community.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Make a difference. Your time in high school will work to shape you as a person, try to do things that count. Volunteer work serves to be rewarding and a lot can be learned from it. Take the time to give back to others – even if it’s in a small way. Step out of your comfort zone and don’t let fear stop you. Always remember… be “KIND”.
Alana Marie Donaldson is the daughter of Tim and Heather Donaldson. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend AVEDA Institute of Atlanta in the summer of June 2021 to pursue her dream of being a cosmetologist.

Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Live life for yourself and not for anyone else. You only live on life, so, therefore, live it up! Everything you do, do it for yourself and never give up on what you believe in.”
Hannah Grace Goodman is the daughter of Jerod and Amanda Goodman. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend Southeaster Technical College and continue in the cosmetology program to obtain a cosmetology diploma. She then plans to transfer to Georgia Southern University to major in business or psychology.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Be yourself! Don’t try too hard to fit in, the right people will come to you. Stay focused on your schoolwork, but make time to go to games, proms, and other school events because these will be the memories that last forever!”
Carrie Elizabeth Newsome is the daughter of Tara Newsome and the late Chris Newsome. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend Georgia Southern University to pursue a career in pharmacy.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Make the most of your years in high school. Participate in everything. Don’t just wish this time away, make the most of it so that you have no regrets.”
Rachel Faith Shaw is the daughter of Casey Shaw and Angela Shaw. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend East Georgia State College to obtain a associate’s degree in business administration. After completing her degree, she plans to attend UGA to further her education and obtain a bachelor’s degree.
Her words of wisdom for undergraduates of David Emanuel Academy are:
“Don’t give up and give your very best. It seems like a simple piece of advice, but it is one of the hardest things to do in school. However, you will thank yourself later when you see how far you have come from your dedication.”
