Mr. David Loydd Price, 79, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral Services were Saturday, October 16, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Price officiating. Interment followed in the Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Mr. Price was born August 25, 1942, in Swainsboro, to the late Eugene Price and Nora Sanders Price. He loved playing tennis and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. David had a beloved dog, Bear. He was a member of New Beginnings. Mr. Price is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene Price; and sister, Betty Elizabeth Beckham.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Mason Price of Swainsboro; daughters, Tammy Gene Price of Alabama and Teresa Wiley of Swainsboro; granddaughter, Paizley Price; step-great-grandchildren, Gannon Wiley, Georgeann Wiley, Sydney Harris, and Bristol Harris; several nieces and nephews.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
