The Brier Creek Chapter held its monthly meeting Thursday night, April 3, at Walls Diner at 6:30 p.m. With President Lee Herron presiding, they had 21 in attendance. The speaker for the evening, Hu Daughtry, presented his program on 48 Stars in the Trunk. Hu has just finished writing this book about his uncle who was killed on his eighth day in Korea during the Korean war. President Lee inducted their latest member, Larry Stephens.
