Mr. Danny Lamb, Sr., 75, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia following an extended illness. A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 20 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. The family received friends Tuesday, October 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6--feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.

Mr. Lamb was born December 2, 1944 in Statesboro to the late Milferd Lamb and Sara Lee Johnson Lamb. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henry Gene Lamb and Carey Lamb, and sister, Unette Edenfield. Mr. Lamb was raised on a dairy farm in Summertown.  He loved life, family, and the outdoors. Mr. Lamb married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie, and made his lifelong home in Emanuel County. He was the owner and operator of Lambos for many years and then retired to enjoy his family. Mr. Lamb enjoyed playing cards with friends and spent many hours of fun around the table. He loved to cook for his family and was happiest when he was surrounded by them. Mr. Lamb knew the rivers better than anyone around and loved spending time especially on the Altamaha River. He was a member of Summertown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Bonnie H. Lamb of Swainsboro; son, Dan (Deidra) Lamb of Swainsboro; daughter, Evelyn (Bo) Hall of Swainsboro; sister, Millie Reddish of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jessica) Copeland, Remington (Kasey) Lamb, Ryder (Kelsey) Lamb, Dylan Hall, Abbigail Hall, and Charissa Hall; great-grandchildren, Kelcie Morris, Dalton Morris, Chestlee Lamb, Emberlie Lamb, and Everleigh Lamb; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
