The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Catered Creations with President Petite Garrett presiding. Sixteen members attended.
The program for the evening was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After the meeting adjourned, the board of directors met to discuss future events of the club because of the pandemic. The board decided to suspend all weekly meetings until Tuesday, April 14. The board also decided that all members would be notified via text and/or phone about any changes in the club schedule.
