Confidence

As life progresses, we see things change swiftly and drastically before our eyes. When we think we have everything in place, changes are made. To name a few; there are cars running by electricity, telephones are used to transact business. You can deposit your check into your account without going to the bank. Currency itself will soon be obsolete. Surgery is being done without using a knife. Life as we knew it will never be and we will never really know life because it will always change.

With all the constant changes, yet there is a way to feel confident. With all the changes and insecurities, we can put our trust in God. His Word is everything we need in these troubled and unstable times. No matter what changes in this world, God's word will never change. It is reassuring, comforting and trustworthy. God's Word makes me feel secure.

While I know it his government will not stand (And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand; Mark 3:25), God's Word will stand forever. Therefore, we should heed to Proverbs 3:5-6, " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths." My God now isn't that so reassuring and comforting. I just feel like saying hallelujah, thank you Jesus, knowing that God said that he will never leave me nor forsake me that he would be with me always, even unto the end of the world. (Matthew 28:20 & Hebrews 13:5)

So, change, world change. I'm not insecure, I am confident, and my confidence is in God. For Acts 17:25 tells me "... in him we live and move and have our being…". So just trust God and live in his love, peace, and joy. Be Confident.
