The Lady Eagles of David Emanuel Academy hosted Jenkins County on Monday, August 31. The softball team defeated their opponents 8-6.
Leading up to the Eagle victory, 3 runs were scored in the third inning with 5 additional runs being added in the sixth inning.
Jenkins County’s softball group scored only 1 run in the second inning, 4 in the fourth, and an additional 1 in the fifth.
