On Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, the City of Adrian hosted Emanuel County’s first-ever virtual swearing-in ceremony for Adrian City Council. The event began at 6 p.m. and was hosted at the Adrian Community Center. The Honorable Judge Don Wilkes made a virtual appearance through Adrian Mayor Wynola Smith’s phone to perform the swearing-in ceremony for post one councilperson Michelle Love, post four councilperson Julie Griffin and post five councilperson Suzanne Hutcheson.
