Mr. Charles Jones Colcock, VII, 86, of Twin City, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 23, at 2 p.m. at Twin City Methodist Church with Reverend Randall Smith officiating. Interment will follow at El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Twin City. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 23, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Twin City Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Mr. Colcock’s grandsons, Lawson Estridge, Mason Hamby, Matthew Hamby, Miles Hamby and Morgan Hamby.

Mr. Charles was born March 14, 1938, to the late Charles Jones Colcock, VI and Henrietta Gatch Colcock. He was a 1956 graduate from Benedictine Military School in Savannah and a Lieutenant in the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Charles was an avid outdoorsman and marksman. He enjoyed looking for artifacts and cooking for his friends. Mr. Charles retired from National Welders as an Assistant Manager. Mr. Colcock is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel Key Colcock; and granddaughter, Chandler Elizabeth Hamby.

Mr. Colcock is survived by his daughters, Stacey Amick (Carrol) of Lexington, S.C. and Amy Hamby (Gregg) of Blythewood, SC; brother, William O. Colcock of Bluffton, SC; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many friends.
