Cast your vote early!

According to Kerry K. Curry, director of elections, as of noon, Tuesday, October 20, a total of 2,385 absentee ballots have been requested. Of the 2,385 ballots mailed out, 1,171 have since been returned to the Emanuel County Elections Office. The number of early in-person votes reported by noon on Tuesday was 2,017.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020, but why wait to cast your vote? Early voting, both in-person and absentee, began October 12 and will extend through October 30. Citizens of Emanuel County may cast their votes Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., daily. All absentee ballots must be requested by October 30 and returned by mail or in-person by 7 p.m. November 3. Remember, every vote counts!
