Carnell Lamb, 85

A graveside service for Carnell Lamb, 85, was held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend James E. Love as eulogist. She passed away September 3.

Miss Carnell Lamb was born December 8, 1934 in Toombs County to the late Ruth and Jim Lamb. She joined the church at an early age. Lamb was a loving usher who lovd working with young people in the church. She lived with her grandmother, Anna Ellen, and sister, Pauline Hubert. Lamb loved to take care of others, she especially loved to cook and sew. She helped raise and spoil her loving nieces and nephews. Lamb was a resident of Emanuel County Nursing Home. The employees loved and cook care of her for over 24 years.

Survivors include a sister, Annie Ruth Burnette; brother, Clyde Chapple Sr.; nieces, Anna Watson, Tracey Williams, Valencia Williams, Lutricia Parker, Debbie Chapple, and Gwendolyn Williams; nephews, Ralph Parker Jr., Tony Parker, and Courtney Williams; seven great-great nieces and nephews,; and other family and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
