Burton Speaks to Wiregrass

The Wiregrass Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting, Thursday night, April 13, 2023, at the New China Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. With President Wilder Smith, Jr. presiding, there were 14 in attendance. Compatriot Allen Burton is a member of the Washington Wilkes Chapter, Georgia Society SAR in Washington, GA. He is also a history professor at Augusta University. Allen retired from the U.S. Army as LTC. Compatriot Burton's presentation was on "Ben Franklin".
