Two DEA students recently competed in the GISA State Literary competition that was hosted at Gordon College on March 22, 2023, after first competing at Region Literary that was held earlier in March and placing second in each of their categories. Tenth grade student, Aaralyn Grimes, competed in Argumentative Essay and won 4th place overall. Ninth grade student, Jonah Boatright, competed in Piano and did an amazing job. Congratulations to these phenomenal Eagles!
