Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Bennett E. Boulineau, age 90, of Kite, on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Scott Health and Rehab in Adrian. Funeral services were Wednesday, November 23, at 2 p.m. in the Oaky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Trent Boulineau and Rev. Burton Dixon officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Oaky Grove Baptist Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment followed in the church cemetery

Pallbearers were Terry Boulineau, Troy Boulineau, Danny Fortner, Kevin Marsh, Ernie Becker, Levi Stoltzfus, Tony Marcus, Eddie Marcus, Richard Woods Joe Drew and Rusty Moore. Honorary Pallbearers were the Ellen Kight Sunday School Class, Rev. Ray and Ruth Jenkins, Mickey and Julie Waters, and Eddie Claxton.

Mr. Boulineau was born December 13, 1931, in Kite, to the late Ernest and Pearl Powell Boulineau. He attended Kite School, and was an Iron Worker with Iron Workers Local #709, working from conception to completion on Plant Hatch and Plant Vogtle, and on Savannah River Site until retirement. Mr. Boulineau was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, syrup making, cooking and eating a good meal followed by a great nap. He was a great friend, and loved his family beyond measure, and was a member of Kite First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boulineau is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Rena Mae Marcus Boulineau; sons, Roy Boulineau and Larry Boulineau; siblings, Hazel DeFoor (Tolbert), Rufus Boulineau (Dean), and Earl Boulineau.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Melinda Claxton Boulineau of Kite; grandchildren, Tori Boulineau Norris (James) of Kite and Trent Boulineau (Candi) of Adrian; great-grandchildren, Mattie Boulineau, Sadie Boulineau, Chloe Boulineau, Josie Boulineau, Sidney Boulineau, Jessi Norris, and Jami Norris; sister-in-law, Janice Boulineau of Kite; Fur baby, Minnie; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Oaky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 54 Oaky Grove Church Rd., Wrightsville, GA 31096
