The Real Squeal Artifact and Primitive Arts Show will take place at Partin Park, located at 168 Miot St. in Lyons, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. October 10.
Hosted by Britt Williams, Emanuel County knapper, the event will feature a display of artifacts from surrounding states as well as fossils, primitive arts, artifact identification and recorded paleo points. Flint knapping and demonstrations will also take place, and two knapping contests, a 10-speed and point replication, will take place at this event.
Admission and set up is free. Artifact show will be hosted inside and the primitive arts portion will be stationed outside.
