Antoine Demetrius “A Rock” Brown, 46

Graveside services for Antoine Demetrius “A Rock” Brown,  46, were held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Swans Cemetery in Garfield with Reverend Ralph Carlyle presiding as eulogist. He passed away Saturday, October 10.

Mr. Antione Demetrius Brown was born to the parentage of the late Deborah Brown and Jessie Brown Sr. He was a member of the Rountree Grove Baptist Church. Brown attended Twin City Elementary was a 1992 graduate of ECI in Twin City. He attended Ogeechee Mental Health for several years before relocating to Thomasville to live with his brother, Randy, after his parent’s death. To know Brown was to love him. He was a very loving person that never met a stranger. Brown touched the lives of everyone he met and everyone he met has a story they can recall about him. Even though he lost his sight, he would amaze people by recognizing them by their voice or their walk. Brown was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, Nekka K. Brown; and brother, Raymond “Geco” G. Brown.

Survivors include three brothers, Jessie Randall “Randy” (Dana) Brown Jr. of Thomasville, Dewayne (Lakeisha) Brown of Atlanta, and Dashaun Steele of Twin City; three sisters, LaQuisha (Terrence) Dixon of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dwana Hughes of Statesboro, and Venus (Timothy) Griffin of New Jersey; grandmother, Amerine Brown of Twin City; nephews, Jalen, Mason, Ryan, Keanu, Jakiree, Darius, Juar, and Kaleb; nieces, Keaisa, Destiny, and Kamiya; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Pallbearers were Frederick Daughtry, Alfonza Brown, Jeffery Grubbs, Greg Kirkland, Ronnell Russell, Tryone Bron, and Jamar Brown.

Mosley’s Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
