Annual Missions March for Georgia Diocese Churches to meet next week

The Annual Missions March for Georgia Diocese Churches of the Living God will convene Tuesday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held at Williams Grove Holiness Church of the Living God located at 302 West MLK Jr. Blvd. in Swainsboro. Dr. Jannie Davis, missionary to Haiti, will be the guest missionary to bring updates and the message. 

The Foreign Mission March is an annual event to bring updates, create awareness and bring support to the missions. The Church of the Living God has  served missions for more than Sixty years.

According to Bishop Bertha Jones, presiding prelate for the Georgia diocese, the mission presently serves the following countries: Monrovia, Liberia, and Ghana West Africa; Lusaka, Chongwe, and Avondale, Zambia South Africa and Lilongwe, Malawi in Central Africa.  The missions also serve Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad, West Indies. 

Through the missions, food, clothes and medical supplies are distributed on a regular basis. A medical clinic is near completion, wells are being dug and reservoirs are installed to supply water.  You are invited and feel free to come and hear the rest of the story.
