Graveside funeral services for Ann P. Shoe, 81, were held Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Dublin Memorial Gardens with James Hampton officiating. The family received friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. She passed away Thursday, January 6, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Ann P. Shoe was born May 10, 1940, in Kite. She was a member of Dudley Baptist, a former board member for the American Cancer Society and was retired from the Shoe Insurance Agency. During her time in the insurance industry, she served two terms as President of Life Underwriters Association and was a member of the Life Leaders Association. Shoe was preceded in death by her parents, the late Charlie and Lou Ella Brown Pritchard; husband, James Shoe; a brother, Buford Pritchard; and a sister, Sarah Kersey.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly (James) Hampton of Ball Ground, Christopher (Debbie) Lamb of Harrison, Kellie (Clark) Garnto of Wrightsville and Scott (Liz) Lamb of Dudley; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jamison Hampton, Victor Lamb, Spencer Hartley, Caleb Hampton, Cody Hilbun and Dan Stuckwisch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Townsend Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
