According to the county commissioners’ update on Tuesday, January 12, the total active cases of COVID-19 in Emanuel has decreased from 189 to 164 since last week’s COVID-19 update report. The report on January 5 was as follows: 189 active cases 1,967 confirmed cases 1,721 recovered 57 deaths This week’s most updated information made available on January 12 is as follows: 164 active cases 2,127 confirmed cases 1,903 recovered cases 60 deaths Statics reported in the January 5 and January 12 reports reveal an decrease of 25 active COVID-19 cases; an increase of 160 confirmed cases; an increase of 182 recoveries; and three increases in deaths.
