Lonnie Johnson, founder of ABC 123 Football, is excited to announce a new book in the making for local youth. The new book, an activity book, features basic learning fundamentals, word search, coloring and other educational information to keep children occupied and learning in their down time.
“Helping children learn their letters and numbers has always been dear to my heart being that I struggled with learning letters and numbers as a child. It’s important for children to know their ABC’s and 123’s, and it’s the parents, guardians, and other adult’s responsibility to see that children are learning as they should. Most importantly, it’s important for children to know that Christ loves them,” Johnson stated.

The ABC 123 Football Activity book for kids corresponds with Johnson’s annual program that began in 2006, ABC 123 Football Pass, Punt, and Kick. The event features an active learning environment for the children that is made possible each year by donations and Johnson’s drive to be an active, positive role model for local youth.
The ABC 123 Football Activity book will be made available for children tentatively around the beginning of February. To obtain a copy, inquire additional information, or make a donation, contact Johnson at 478-299-3964 or visit him at 178 Lindsey Rd. Lot 22 in Swainsboro.
