A Place for You

As things began to get chaotic in this world, everyone is looking for a special place. They are looking for a place of their own, a place where they feel comfortable. My, how much time, resources and effort are spent on trying to make your home a special place. Everyone would like for their place to feel secure. As we purchase valuables, we want them to be safe. For safety reasons, people began to try to secure their homes with alarms, cameras and guns. They began to lock themselves in their own homes, so where is the comfort? It sounds like troubled hearts and insecurity in your own place.
But in St. John Chapter 14, Jesus told His discipline not to have a troubled heart. He told them not to let their hearts be afraid because He is going away to prepare a place for them. In His Father's house are many mansions. He is preparing a place for His disciples because He is coming back to get them. Yes, He is coming back just like He said. Why would He prepare somewhere for you to live forever and not come back for you and take you there?

The place that Jesus has prepared cannot be reached through navigation. It is not accessible by boat, truck, car, nor plane. NASA and spaceships cannot get you there. Jesus is the only way to get to that prepared place. He said in His Word, "I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father, but by Me." The prepared place is in His Father's house.
Matthew Chapter 6 and verses 19-20 tells us not to lay treasures up on earth because moth corrupts and thieves break through and steal. "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor dust corrupt, nor thieves do not break through nor steal."
So today, accept Jesus to come and live in your heart now so you can live with Him forever in the place which He has prepared for you. Yes, you have a special place prepared just for you. This is a prepared place for a prepared people. Prepare yourself today by receiving Jesus as your personal Savior. You are special and loved by Him.
