On February 11, the Swainsboro Jaycees spent the afternoon with the kids from the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Home in Nunez. The Jaycees cooked burgers for the youth residents, served with chips, cookies and drinks. They also presented each child with a $500 gift card. This is an initiative of the Swainsboro Jaycees Empty Stocking Fund. Special thanks to members of the Emanuel Co. Sheriff’s Office and Swainsboro Police Department for participating alongside the Swainsboro Jaycees.
