Ruby Ashley re-elected to Triangle Coalition board

Swainsboro resident Ruby Ashley, project coordinator for the Georgia Southern Museum Outreach Programs, has been re-elected to a three-year term on the board of directors for the Triangle Coalition for Science and Technology Education.

The Triangle Coalition is a Washington D. C. based organization comprised of more that 100 member organizations with representation from three key stake holders: business, education, and scientific and engineering societies.

SWAINSBORO—Funeral for Beulah W. Sanders was held Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. James Brooks officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died Dec. 24, 2004 after a extended illness.

Culbreth completes warrant school

Frederick D. Culbreth of Twin City was recently promoted to the grade of Warrant Officer One (WO1). He is the son of Rev. Isaac and Mrs. Christine Culbreth. He is a 1991 graduate of Emanuel County Institute.
