PFC Dustin L. Scott graduated with honors from the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion, U.S. Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., March 3 as a Military Intelligence Systems maintainer/integrator. He earned 37 hours in cooperation with Cochise College.

Buckley Screws accepted into People to People World Leadership Forum

Buckley Screws of Swainsboro Middle School has been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum. She will join a select group of students in Washington D.C. from April 4-10 to earn high school credit while studying leadership and exploring the nation’s prominent monuments and institutions.

    TWIN CITY—Funeral for William “Billy” R. Johnson, 71, was held Sunday, March 27, 2005 at 3 p.m. at Garfield Baptist Church with Elder Tommy Rountree and Rev. Scott Osborne officiating. Burial was in Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Friday, March 25, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness.
