New Hope to host appreciation program

New Hope Faith Mission will host an appreciation program for its pastor Feb. 14-20 at 7:30 each night. Speakers for the week will be:

Monday and Tuesday: Johnny Ray Jones.

Wednesday and Friday: Henry Williams.

Thursday: Matthew Davis.

Saturday: Joel Davis.

Dinner will be served Sunday evening.

    A Power of Blood service will be held at Triumph in Praise Ministry in Stillmore Sunday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. There will be various speakers scheduled. Pastor Alice Davis is host pastor and founder.

    TWIN CITY—Funeral for Zunell “Nell” Daniels Webb, 80, was held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at El Bethel Baptist Church, near Twin City, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005.

    Swainsboro police officers reported numerous burglaries and domestic incidents. Cases logged are:

    Jan. 31

    A Swainsboro woman reported she paid $110 to have her car windows tinted by a man, whom she identified, and that she was unsatisfied with the end result.

    A woman driving on Meadowlake Pkwy. reported a rock hit her right headlight and cracked it.

    ADRIAN—Funeral for Clara B. Lumley, 73, was held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Adrian United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Palmer officiating. Burial was in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Johnson County. She died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005.
